The DIGITAL ENLIGHTENMENT FORUM stimulates and organises debate among representatives of science and technology, law and policy, with a view to providing guidance on the rapid changes in digital technologies and their perceived impact on society and its governance.
It takes its inspiration from the 18th century Enlightenment period (also Age of Reason) as well as from transformations and evolutions that have taken place since then. It examines digital technologies and their application openly with essential societal values in mind.
