Mydex CIC has joined the Open Identity Exchange with the intention to deploy a trust framework around volunteered personal information.
Volunteered personal information is a new class of data that can only flow when the individual has the necessary data management tools on their side, and the ability to choose/ set the terms and conditions under which they will release their information.
Don Thibeau, Chairman of the Open Identity Exchange (OIX), said “The problem of ‘who do you trust’ is a Internet scale problem requiring international solutions”. Trust Frameworks are a new governance model that accounts for the cross-jurisdictional technology and policy interoperability essential to online identity authentication. “Mydex has the right experience and expertise to help make trust frameworks work across national and technological boundaries.
