Let My Data Go! Personal Data Freedom Day 2013

It’s Passover, Tuesday, March 26, 2013, Personal Data Freedom Day 2013 time to celebrate the liberation of our data from those who held it in bondage. It is a day to remember how we suffered as our data was held hostage, sold as slaves, abused, distorted, destroyed. We also tell stories of freedom when our digital selves were set free, returned home to the lives and families from which they had been torn. On Personal Data Freedom Day we praise people and institutions who surrender data and power to the individual. On this day we also mark those who treat us like cattle to be fattened for our data. And we protest as we struggle to bring our data to the promised land after years in servitude.
