Augmented Reality and Personal Data Services

I was invited by Christine Perey to present at the 3rd International Augmented Reality Standards Conference in Taiwan. I met Christine at Telco 2 in Palo Alto and London. Like me connecting dots amongst user-centric and personal data efforts/standards, she has been connecting the dots amongst various efforts in Augmented Reality across various standards bodies/communities.

I found this post on WIRED by Bruce Sterling commenting on the conference and standards in general. “*If “code is law,” then standards are like the Senate.

I couldn’t make it all the way to Taiwan but recorded this presentation.

Here is a video of Christine talking about what Augmented Reality “is” – in part it is the cyber colonization of the real world.
